Searching for registered designs

Searching for registered designs

Prior to filing a Registered Design Application, it is a good idea to conduct a search of Registered Designs. This will determine whether your design is likely to be considered original and whether it may potentially infringe on any designs that have already been registered.

We can conduct preliminary searches in-house in respect of the UK and European Design Registers. We can also request searches to be undertaken by the UK Design Registry or in another country using our network of Foreign Associates.
