Professional Qualifications
Chris is a Chartered UK Patent Attorney. Chris received the Michael Jones Prize for the highest mark in Advanced Patent Examination P4 (Amendment).
Academic Qualifications
Chris obtained a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences in 1995 which included a year working in industry at SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals in Surrey. He then obtained a PhD in Microbiology at the University of Warwick.
Professional Experience
Chris gained a number of years of valuable commercial experience in industry in the fields of I.T. and Biotechnology before joining Bailey Walsh & Co. in 2003. He handles a broad range of technical subject matter, advising clients in relation to Patents, Trade Marks, Registered Designs, Copyright, and Unregistered Design Right, specialising particularly in Mechanical and Software-based inventions.
Chris is also responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's website, in-house Records and IT systems.
