29 Jan Up to a Dozen Representations now Permitted for UK Registered Designs
The UK Intellectual Property Office had previously limited the number of views, or representations, which can be filed as part of a UK registered design application, to seven. Many applicants found this limitation on the number of design views to be difficult to adequately show the features of their designs.
However, good news has come from the UK Intellectual Property Office, who have realised this issue and have now changed the number of views that can be filed with a single UK registered design application to twelve. This should hopefully make it easier for applicants to adequately show all the features of their designs.
